Why You Should Include Exercise Into Your Routine
Audrey Binsfeld
We as humans are meant to move around daily. Think back to our ancestors, the neanderthals. They had no internet to keep them sitting down for hours. No, they had to survive. Hunting, gathering, struggling to find food. They didn’t live very long. But we are in a different day and age. No longer do we have those kinds of worries. We can sit all day and know that we will have food on our table, water in our cups, and a ceiling over our heads. For some people, they have an office job and so they have to sit eight hours a day in order to afford food and water. This doesn’t leave them as much time as the cavemen to move around. For many, including exercise into your routine is solely for looks, not as a necessity for survival. We tend to view exercise as a path towards weight loss, but that’s not why we should do it. We should include movement into our daily routines to be healthy and feel our best, which would ultimately lead to a longer, fulfilling life.
